How we see the other is not how they are.
Because how they are is not what they show.
What they show is what they think we want to see.
They might get it right but in the end what we see
is not who they are but who they want us to believe they are.
So we end up not knowing each other.
All we end up knowing is what the other was prepared to share.
I am blessed to be able to be who I really am
at the end of the day,
I know for sure that at least one person truly knew me.
And I am deeply proud that this person still finds it worth a while to know me.
