Ashes day

just 8  letters, 2 simple words

only I know how much it hurts

and with what effect it does come

the souls turning dark and and I feel numb

movements slow down and all noise suddenly drops

there is nothing but wait until it stops

then in pitch darkness a light will re-appear

I begin to feel, move, see and hear

the light touches me, skin, body and soul

and with new found strength I pull myself out of this hole.

I don´t know how many times I have done this before

all I know is I don´t want to do this anymore
