three legged cat

the cat is back in the house

but will she ever catch another mouse

she´s one leg short as of today

oh, how said, I hear you say

it is indeed a tragic story I can tell

but with a good ending to it as well

she doesn´t walk like she used to do

she is hopping more like a kangaroo

now it´s gone that left back leg

there is nothing to scratch that side of her neck

I´ll have to do that while she curls up on my lap

and purrs as she is taking her afternoon nap.

she hasn´t got nine lifes left anymore

but then her life hasn´t been a bore

let´s hope that she will be as happy as a cat can be

even though legs she has now just three.
