The Pope is in Germany. Touched down in Berlin this lunchtime. I wasn´t there but watched it on TV curtesy of Bagel Brothers. He looks old and fragile yet rigid. An Italian proverb says that "The Pope and a peasant know more between them than the pope alone". What´s that supposed to mean? Anyway, Pope or no Pope, I feel blessed today. I had my Guardian Angel right by my side during the last couple of days. One more about the Pope: "Anybody can be Pope; the proof of this is that I have become one" Pope John XXIII.
